Tiny Toy Poodles of Danville VA

where a Tiny Treasure Awaits You

At Tiny Toy Poodles of Danville VA, our dogs are not just pets; they are beloved members of our family. To enhance the well-being of our dogs and ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve, we have introduced the concept of Guardian Homes into our program. This initiative allows us to expand our reach while providing our dogs with nurturing, loving environments, all without the need for a traditional kennel setting. Guardian Homes offer qualifying families a unique opportunity to welcome one of our exceptional dogs into their lives without the financial burden typically associated with acquiring a high-quality dog. In this arrangement, families agree to care for and raise one of our breeding dogs throughout their breeding career. Once the dog’s breeding journey is complete and they are neutered (covered by the breeder) and full ownership is transferred to the Guardian Home. We seek Guardian Homes because we believe that every dog deserves a loving family environment where they can thrive. By placing our breeding dogs in Guardian Homes, we ensure they receive the socialization, training, and companionship that are essential for their happiness and well-being. Guardian Homes are responsible for providing a warm and loving atmosphere, maintaining regular veterinary care, keeping the dog up to date on vaccinations and preventative treatments, and offering proper training and socialization—essentially, all the key elements of responsible dog ownership. Tiny Toy Poodles of Danville VA will cover all breeding-related expenses, all vaccinations, all food, and all flea n tick and heartworm meds, making this a mutually beneficial arrangement. One of the significant perks of being a Guardian Home is that we offer financial gifts and we will board for free. This partnership not only enriches the lives of our dogs but also fosters a strong bond between families and their dogs, creating a community that values love, care, and responsible breeding practices.

Requirements needed to qualify to be a guardian home:

• Males must reside within one hour of Danville, VA • All other dogs in the home must be spayed or neutered. • A physical or invisible fence is required. • The dog must be kept indoors—no exceptions. • Owners must be committed to teaching basic training (leash, crate, house, and basic obedience) and maintaining training for the duration of the contract. • The dog must be kept safe and contained at all times. • Guardians must keep the dog up-to-date on all vaccinations (I cover these costs) and groomed regularly. • Flexibility with drop-off times is necessary. • Must be willing to coordinate, cooperate, and maintain open communication with the breeder.
